What’s needed for Cajun Steak Bites?

For the Steak

Steak: Really, any cut will work for this recipe. Sirloin, Rump, Strip, Ribeye, Filet, etc. Cut into 2 inch cubes.

Oil: 1-2 tbsp of Olive, or other cooking oil.

Butter: 1/4 cup

Garlic: 4 cloves, pressed or minced

For the Cajun Seasoning:

Paprika: 1 tbsp

Kosher Salt: 1 1/2 tsp

Garlic Powder: 1 1/2 tsp

Onion Powder: 1 tsp

Chili Powder: 1 tsp

Dried Thyme: 1 tsp

Oregano: 1/2 tsp

Brown Sugar: 1/2 tsp

Cayenne Pepper: 1/2 tsp (add more for heat)

Black Pepper: 1/4 tsp

How to Make the Cajun Butter Garlic Steak Bites

Prep the steak bites: Combine cajun seasoning in a shallow bowl. Add the steak bikes and combine to coat evenly. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a skillet or pan over medium-high heat.

Cook the steak bites: Sear the steak bites in batches for 2-3 minutes each side until edges are crispy and browned, adding extra oil as needed. Remove from heat and set aside. Reduce heat to low-medium. Add butter to the skillet and heat until melted. Cook garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds, while scraping up any brown bits from the bottom.

Finish and serve! Take the pan off the heat. Throw the steak bites in and toss through the garlic butter to evenly coat.

Tips & Tricks

If you have a cast iron skillet, use it. Nothing beats steak cooked in a cast iron! If you don’t have cast iron, use a good quality nonstick pan that doesn’t stick at high temperatures.

Pay attention to your steak bites while they are in the pan. They only need about 2 minutes each side. Use tongs to check on them and make sure they’re not overcooking.

  2. One other thing I would like to talk about is that as opposed to trying to match all your online degree lessons on days of the week that you conclude work (since most people are tired when they return home), try to find most of your instructional classes on the week-ends and only a couple of courses on weekdays, even if it means a little time away from your saturday and sunday. This pays off because on the week-ends, you will be extra rested along with concentrated in school work. Thanks alot : ) for the different recommendations I have learned from your site.

  3. Usually I do not read article on blogs, but I wish to say that this write-up very forced me to try and do it! Your writing style has been surprised me. Thanks, quite nice article.

  4. Thanks for your article. Another thing is that to be a photographer will involve not only issues in catching award-winning photographs but hardships in acquiring the best digicam suited to your requirements and most especially struggles in maintaining the caliber of your camera. This can be very genuine and evident for those photography enthusiasts that are in to capturing a nature’s captivating scenes — the mountains, the forests, the wild or even the seas. Going to these exciting places surely requires a photographic camera that can meet the wild’s severe natural environment.

  5. Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. 6. My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on a number of websites for about a year and am concerned about switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!

  7. I know of the fact that now, more and more people will be attracted to surveillance cameras and the field of photography. However, like a photographer, you should first spend so much of your time deciding the exact model of digital camera to buy plus moving store to store just so you may buy the cheapest camera of the brand you have decided to decide on. But it won’t end right now there. You also have take into consideration whether you should buy a digital video camera extended warranty. Thanks a lot for the good tips I received from your blog site.

  8. Wonderful work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the internet. Shame on Google for not positioning this post higher! Come on over and visit my web site . Thanks =)
