Breakfast Pizza Ingredients

Sheet Pan Breakfasts are all the rage, and for good reason! You can prep and cook everything all at once, then sit down to a delicious breakfast whenever you want with minimum effort. Plus, this recipe yields just about enough for four to six people, so it is great for feeding a crowd!

Honestly, you can make this recipe with just about any loved topping. However I stuck with a more classic breakfast ingredient combo:

  • Sausage (I prefer the hot or maple kind. Sometimes, a mixture of both)
  • Eggs
  • Cheese (Shredded Mexican and pepper jack work best)
  • Hash Browns (I prefer the Trader Joe version, chopped into pieces)
  • Crescent Rolls (The flaky or buttered versions work well)

Other Breakfast Pizza Topping Ideas:

  • Bacon Crumbles
  • Ham
  • Pancetta
  • Smoked Salmon
  • Spinach
  • Arugula
  • Fresh cheeses like ricotta or mozzarella pearls
  • Onions
  • Peppers
  • Mushrooms
  • Pesto

How to make the Breakfast Pizza:

This recipe is so easy to make, a college guy could do it.

  1. Prep the Pizza Ingredients: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Take the crescent rolls out of the fridge 15 minutes before making. In the meantime, spray a small sheet pan (or use parchment paper), with nonstick spray. Brown the sausage (or other meat), in a skillet and drain. Gather all toppings for easy assembly.
  2. Assemble the Pizza: Spread the crescent rolls, without breaking, on the prepared pan. Press and work the dough a little to make sure it covers the pan. Spoon the sausage (or other meat) over the crust and then add hash browns. Top with shredded cheese and any additional toppings.
  3. Whisk the egg mixture: Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and parmesan together in a separate bowl. Pour mixture evenly on cheese.
  4. Bake the pizza: Bake at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes or until eggs are set. Serve immediately. Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 3 days.
